My Background
A lifelong animal owner and artist, I have over 35 years of experience drawing animals. I have studied their anatomy and locomotion, the direction in which their hair/fur lays, the expressions in their eyes. Being around animals every day helps me bring their spirit to life in my custom pet portraits.
My Mediums
I enjoy painting, drawing, and photography. I paint with Liquitex Professonal Soft Body paints on canvas. I use Faber Castell Polychromos colored pencils on artist paper. For photography, I use a Canon 5D Mark IV with a variety of lenses.

My Inspiration
I am inspired by the animals I've shared my life with, whether it was a for short time or many years. Each one has been unique, with special talents, funny antics, bold personalities, and distinguishing physical traits. My wish is to honor your pet through art.
