A lifelong animal owner and artist, I have over 35 years of experience drawing animals. I have studied their anatomy and locomotion, the direction in which their hair/fur lays, the expressions in their eyes. Being around animals every day helps me bring their spirit to life in my custom pet portraits.

I paint with acrylics on a variety of surfaces, including canvas, wood and glass. Colored pencils are my preferred medium for highly detailed, realistic pieces. My go-to brand of pencils is Faber Castell Polychromos.
